MP & Dru Yoga Therapy

This year Jackie has teamed up with Jules Blythe, a Dru Yoga teacher to teach a new and unique blend of Modern Pilates and Dru Yoga Therapy classes. These practices are very complimentary to each other, combining strengthening, stretching and stabilising exercises with relaxation and body/mind energy practices.

Jackie will provide a safe and clinical-based method of exercise that will strengthen the body, stretch the muscles and stabilise the joints and muscles. The aim is to work the body from the inside out, creating a stronger, flatter mid-section, improving posture, promoting muscle balance, realigning the spine and improving the function and appearance of the body, together with relieving stress and tension.

Jules will provide a therapy that cultivates the body/mind integration and a sense of harmony with life. This discipline promotes the innate healing resources in the body, helping to restore the proper functioning of various bodily systems. Dru Yoga Therapy can be used to alleviate a number of conditions, including stress and anxiety, IBS, digestive disorders, back pain, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, preconception and weight loss.
